September 20th 2011 Congratulations to Jorge Alvarado who has now been promoted to evening cleaning supervisor at the Angel Building in Islington. September 10th 2011 Chamberlaine are awarded ‘Safe Contractor’ accreditation for another year. August 5th 2011 Welcome to our new Assistant Office Administrator, Diana Garzon. Diana comes to us with years of experience running reception desks and facilities in central London. June 1st 2011 After a successful trial of ‘Active ion’ - ionator devices, Chamberlaine begin phasing them in across the portfolio to replace stainless steel cleaner and glass cleaner. October 10th 2010 Chamberlaine are pleased to announce that we have successfully acquired the cleaning contract for the Angel Building, Islington. June 21st 2010 WE ARE MOVING!!! Chamberlaine Cleaning Services Ltd are pleased to announce that we are moving to bigger offices. Due to the ever growing demand for our services we are relocating. Diego joined Chamberlaine as a cleaner in 2003 and has since worked extremely hard to get to where he is now and sets a great example to us all. We are extremely happy to have him as an integral part of the management team. April 23rd 2010 Congratulations to Henry Luna in his promotion to Senior Supervisor. September 25th 2009 Chamberlaine have successfully delivered cleaning, facilities and event management services for London Design week at the Portobello Dock in association with the designer Tom Dixon and Derwent London. Well done to all those employees who helped to make the event such a great success. June 9th 2009 Safe Contractor Status Achieved for the 5th consecutive year. April 6th 2009 Chamberlaine committed to supporting the Mayor of London’s Green Procurement Code, which is being delivered by London Remade. The code is focused on stimulating demand for recycled products as well as reducing the global carbon footprint. The aim of the code is to help organisations identify opportunities to minimise and recycle waste, and buy products manufactured from recycled material. March 6th 2009 We are pleased to announce that our Tender for the cleaning contract at the Qube building in W1 was successful and we look forward to servicing the common parts of the building from April. Many thanks to all those who contributed to the tender process. This acquisition along with other recent Fitrovia and Euston based contracts is helping us to get a more substantial foot hold in this area of London. February 25th 2009 All of us at Chamberlaine would like to wish Harold Sanchez and his wife Diana many congratulations on the birth of their son Martin. 2nd February 2009 Chamberlaine are very pleased to announce that we have initiated a partnership with Johnson Diversey to provide our company with a greener alternative to many of the cleaning chemicals we currently employ. The Sani Cid, Sprint 200, Jontec 300 and Suma Bac D10 concentrate products will be phased in over the next 2 months. These concentrate products will replace the ready made disposable multi surface, kitchen, glass and washroom cleaners currently in use. The chemicals are diluted on site via an in built dosing cap system into marked re-usable trigger spray bottles thus drastically shrinking our carbon footprint and reducing the amount of plastic waste generated by up to 65%. Well done! December 1st 2008 We have signed a new deal with the paper manufacturer SCA to provide our company with Tork paper products. We have fixed the price of all paper products until 2010 so even as the market prices for paper products increase our clients will not have to suffer any additional costs. SCA also has fantastic environmental credentials and are a market leader in this area, they are also recognized as been the 2nd greenest company in the world. November 2nd 2008 Chamberlaine are pleased to announce that we have successfully acquired the cleaning contract for the advertising agency VCCP in Greencote House. This blue chip client has also opted for our full time caretaking service throughout the day allowing us to provide them with a comprehensive level of service and support in one very practical and cost effective package. May 12th 2008 Chamberlaine are pleased to announce that we have successfully acquired the cleaning contract for the head office of First Capital Connect; Hertford House. March 31st 2008 A warm welcome to Jhoanna Herrera who will be starting work on a full time basis as our new office administrator. Jhoanna joins us from the concierge industry and brings with her a wealth of experience in customer services, she is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. This membership will aid us in the continued development and delivery of high quality facilities services throughout the portfolio. February 1st 2008 Congratulations to Harold Sanchez our senior supervisor on his marriage to lovely wife Diana. January 15th 2008 Congratulations and best wishes to our General Manager Louis Beaumont and his family on the arrival of there new baby daughter, Elsabeth Constance Beaumont. Elsabeth arrived this morning at 09.22, weighing a healthy 9lbs 9oz October 23rd 2007 Louis Beaumont the General Manager and Health and Safety Coordinator successfully completed his NEBOSH certificate examinations and passed with distinction. This allows the company to further progress its commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace. Our main objective is to continually monitor, review and improve the Health and Safety structure within the company to provide the safest possible approach to all tasks undertaken whilst adhering to all current government legislation and guidelines. October 8th 2007 New Chamberlaine web site launched October 4th 2007 Three intruders claiming to be from a bogus company were prevented access to client offices in St Martins Lane , WC2, by Chamberlaine cleaner, Norma Castillo. Norma called her supervisor Orlando Ruiz, as per company guidelines and training for assistance. Orlando arrived to find the intruders in the common staircase area and escorted them from the premises, then notified his senior supervisor. Both staff members have been awarded employee of the month status and will be receiving a financial reward for their quick thinking and steadfast approach. July 27th 2007 Successful tender achieved for new development in Portobello Dock, former Virgin head office. Due to start in September 2007.
